Mini & Munchkin Bernedoodles
As a dog breeder, I appreciate the exceptional qualities of Bernedoodles, a crossbreed between the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle. Bernedoodles are truly remarkable pets, combining the best traits from both parent breeds. Their gentle and affectionate nature, inherited from the Bernese Mountain Dog, makes them loving and devoted companions, forming strong bonds with their human families. Their intelligence, courtesy of the Poodle lineage, allows for easy training and quick learning, making them a delight to work with. Bernedoodles are known for their social and friendly disposition, getting along well with children and other pets, creating a harmonious household environment. Additionally, their hypoallergenic coats, which typically exhibit low to minimal shedding, make them an excellent choice for families with allergies. With their loving demeanor, intelligence, and adaptability, Bernedoodles have all the qualities that make for a truly outstanding and cherished family pet.
Bernedoodle FAQ
Are your Bernedoodle parents health tested?
Yes. Every parent dog is DNA tested through Embark and Wisdom Panel and has OFA cardiac (heart) and patella (knee) certifications, so genetic defects aren't passed on to our puppies. Email us and we'll send you the parents' results.
What is a Mini or Munchkin Bernedoodle?
A Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. Mini and Munchkin Bernedoodles are smaller versions, bred with Miniature Poodles, that keep the Bernese's calm, loyal, affectionate personality and classic tri-color markings.
How big will my Bernedoodle get?
Adult size depends on the parents and generation. We give an estimated weight range for each litter, and we're happy to help you choose the right size for your family.
Are your Bernedoodles registered?
Yes. Our Bernedoodles are registered with the Continental Kennel Club (CKC), and our Poodle parents are AKC registered. Every puppy comes with a two-year genetic health guarantee.
